I have a painting or two in the show 'Gone to the Dogs' at Denise Bibro Fine Art in Chelsea,
opening Oct 8th,6-9pm Thursday night for all you NYers...and Boston/Hamburg/and Newburyporters :) Turning out to be a family reunion, too YAY!
So I hope you can make it, it's going to be FUN! Lots of dogs. all SORTS of dog art.
I just delivered the slightly changed 'Pinch Me' to a now happy client. Pinch Me is a rescue from the Azores, has an amazing story, and now part of the story is recorded in the landscape. I didn't know, but the Azores are covered with hydrangeas, and so is Little Compton where Pinch Me chose to live now. An interesting connection. I woulda thought palm trees..but no; fields, cliffs and lots and LOTS of hydrangeas.
AND I just opened in a show in Ipswich, MA with Art Focus at New England Biolabs. The owner of this joint is a real art lover.
Travels the world and has a large permanent art collection in this huge modern glass building, as well as has a rotating show- which I am in. There is great emphasis on the arts for the workers there. It's an incredible space, I've included a picture from another angle so you can get
an idea...My artwork, along with some very interesting photographs by Judith Larsen, are displayed on a long sweeping wall behind that vast reception desk with umbrella.
I hope if any of you reading this are on Facebook, you will join my fan page there. It's a great way I can consolidate all of my art news..art and only art. Animals. Art.
I will end on a *very* serious note. This cat has not been given the memo that cats hate water. Just in *case* you missed it, *here* it is * it just goes on and on and on, and I am FASCINATED!!! *
