oh, did you like my last post? Completely blank! oops. Well, I think I can do a *little* better than that.
It's been a long time since I did a blog entry. Been painting, been art opening, been open studiosing, a little O'Hara Arting, some GPSing and some summer fun thrown in- while dodging raindrops.
I am trying a little reorganization of my communication...I'm focusing in on the fact that I have different types of friends and connections. So if you are a fan of my artwork, I will say a good thing to do, aside from getting this blog, is to become a fan on Facebook. There I will let everyone know everything to do with my artwork. Like this new painting 'Fashionista' fer instance.
My regular Facebook page I will focus in on foodfights and quizzes on which star I look most like ;) (I know, Angelie Jolie)
My email list of art people I will reserve for invitations to openings or open studios.
My email 'forwards list' I will reserve for cuuuute little animal pictures or other funny, or sometimes thought provoking forwards.
You can check my website www.janeohara.com for 'news' and 'new work' . And of course if you'd like to purchase a limited edition print - (I have 28 I think- easy as pie w/ paypal), go to my 'store' . Here's my latest giclee I've printed up- 'Wary'
SO, all to say, I will try not to bother everyone I know with everything I do, say, or think, but 'zup to you to find the parts of me you find interesting! Here's some parts you may find interesting.
My blog I will use to put all SORTS of ramblings and fun stuff...or some updates on what's up out there in the animal world, perhaps not always fun but needed to keep on top of the greedy, seedy, sensitivity chip missing people and corporations that do unnecessary harm to our furry, feathered and scaled buddies.....
or boring detailed accounts of my social networking plans....
OR a nice little plug for a friends cool new website like LAELIA E. MITCHELL I'm her #1 fan. And I'm not talking Kathy Bates in Misery. Look at this
beauty I just purchased on her easy as pie to buy website! I can't wait to git it!
I want to mention that my show at Gallery 55 in Natick MA has been extended by popular demand. The show will come down at the end of August, but not before ANOTHER opportunity to pahty down with the 2-d animals at the closing party Friday August 28th. More on that later. John Mottern, gallery owner extraordinaire has a breeeelliant idea up his sleeve for the screen Sacrifice he is working on, so more on this and the closing party to come! For now, the Gallery is open Saturdays 10-2pm and Wednesday evenings 4-7pm. Or by Appt. Call John 508-740-0260 .
