What a Circus..
This painting was inspired by the abuses I've learned of that occur in circuses. Babies are taken from their mothers, beaten and chained to learn these 'amazing' feats, like standing on tiny stools. I use the format of the banner with ropes and bars to invoke feelings of the circus.
